    • "...Christine suffered with extreme curvature of the spine. It was so bad in fact, that none of her internal organs were where they were supposed to be. She started out at a tall 5'8" but was hunched over to 5ft when she died. She was affectionately given the name "Little Nan". She endured constant pain but never gave in. She worked harder than anyone and was very good to her grandchildren, Lesley and Noreen whom she protected from a lot of trouble because she thought their father Fred, was too strict." - Mellisa Haddon.
