STUBBS, John and Rose Following their reunion in March 2013, John and Rose were finally able to visit the grave of their mother, Gladys, in Newport on the Isle of Wight. John is holding a photograph, in which he is standing behind the headstone in almost exactly the same place. The photograph was taken when John was about 18, almost 60 years ago. For Rose, this was the first time she had visited the grave as she had no idea where her mother was buried. |
