Ship's Manifest: "Philadelphia" - 8 Aug 1916
This document is part of the original ships manifest for the sailing of the "Philadelphia" from Liverpool to New York (Ellis Island). The ship sailed on 8 Aug 1916 and arrived in Ellis Island on 11 Aug 1916. On board were 3 generations of Bassetts; Eliza Bassett (nee Merrett), Eliza's daughter Lucy and Lucy's illigitimate daughter, Georgina Llewellyn Bassett.
The recorded ages of all 3 were incorrect on the ship's manifest but upon registration at Ellis Island Immigration Portal, their ages were correctly registered.
