    • Jasper and Ruth emigrated to the USA between 1855 and 1856 but returned briefly for the birth of their daughter Mary, sometime around 1860-1. In 1861 the family are living in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire, England and in 1870, they are living in Malta, Illinois, USA. (See census records, above.)
